Mark Rielly joined the Pawa firm in October 2006. In 2007, Mr. Rielly handled the direct and redirect examination of Dr. Barrett Rock in the Vermont Pavley trial. Dr. Rock's testimony survived a vigorous Daubert challenge by the domestic automobile industry and provided important evidence to the court regarding the impacts of global warming on Vermont. He is now involved in the Cape Wind matter in which he represents Clean Power Now and in a commercial litigation case on behalf of American Towers, Inc., dealing with professional negligence.

Prior to joining the Pawa firm, Mr. Rielly practiced with the law firm of Zarin & Steinmetz in White Plains, New York, where he represented private and municipal clients in litigation and before administrative agencies in matters involving zoning, land use development, environmental review, wetlands, and eminent domain.

Mr. Rielly received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, and a Certificate in Environmental Law in 2001 from Pace University School of Law, where he served as a Senior Associate of the Pace Environmental Law Review. Mr. Rielly was also selected by the faculty to participate in the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic, where he represented the Hudson Riverkeeper organization, and was a Senior Research Fellow at the Land Use Law Center. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1992 from The College of the Holy Cross, and a Masters of Theological Studies, with distinction, from Weston Jesuit School of Theology. He is a recipient of the 2001 Environmental Law Scholar Award from the White Plains Bar Association.

Mr. Rielly is the author of Neo-Traditional Neighborhood Development, Zoning Law & Practice (West 2001); and Comment, Evaluating Farmland Preservation Through Suffolk County, New York's Purchase of Development Rights Program, 18 Pace Envtl. L. Rev. 197 (Winter 2000).
