
Mr. Krass joined the Pawa firm in 2003. He is involved in all of the environmental cases and particularly in the MTBE case in which he represents the State of New Hampshire. He played a significant role in preparing evidence and cross examination in the Vermont Pavley trial. Mr. Krass received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2003 and his B.A. from Canisius College in 1999. While attending law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review. As an adjunct lecturer in 2003, he co-taught Environmental Law in the Boston College Political Science Department. He is the author or co-author of several journal articles, including Behind the Curve: The National Media's Reporting on Global Warming, 33 B.C. Envtl. Aff. L. Rev. 485 (2006); Global Warming As A Public Nuisance: Connecticut v. American Electric Power, 16 Fordham Envtl. L. Rev. 407 (2005); and Comment: Combating Urban Sprawl in Massachusetts: Reforming the Zoning Act through Legal Challenges, 30 B.C. Envtl. Aff. L. Rev. 605 (2003). Prior to law school, he spent nine months living in Oviedo, Spain, studying European Union Regional Policy on a William J. Fulbright grant. In his spare time, Mr. Krass is a competitive runner (he has run several marathons), and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and ice climbing.
